A reminder to look for an overview sheet that tells parents and students about the Immigration project. Details are found on this blog, but you'll have to scroll down back in time to come across it. Students and their families should have picked a country the student will research by now. It is best if one of your ancestral lines comes from that country, because it is personal for the student, but also easier to find information from relatives. It could be, however, that a student would prefer to pick a country that they would like to learn about, even if they have no family connection. Notices:
Two notices were sent home today; one a permission slip ("Informed consent") for our field trip to the Music Festival at Centennial Theatre next week (a blue form), and the other (on bright yellow paper) a joint North Van Rec/School District initiative for pre-teens held once a week after school on Wednesdays from mid-April to June, with online registration.
